Each summer and winter, The Chinese Language Institute hosts university students and faculty groups on unforgettable journeys through China. This upcoming summer will be one to remember.

CLI will host groups from Lynchburg College, Virginia Tech, Howard University, Norfolk State University and the China Sustainability Initiative, as well as many students on individual study programs from around the world. Here's a brief run down of what we have in store!

China Sustainability Initiative
The Chinese Language Institute is pleased to introduce an upcoming China-based research and consulting project in conjunction with the China Sustainability Initiative (CSI).  Students and faculty will work together as a professional consulting team to complete a sustainable development project alongside a dynamic collection of local partners.  Eligible participants include graduate and senior undergraduate students, alumni interested in lifelong service learning, and professionals seeking international work experience.

Rising China - International Management in the PRC
This upcoming summer, join Lynchburg College for an unforgettable 15-day journey to some of China's most beautiful and awe-inspiring sites. Earn college credit while delving into Mandarin culture and attending in-depth seminars with a variety of local and international hosts.

Intelligence Community Centers for Academic Excellence (IC CAE)
CLI has forged an official partnership with the U.S. Federal Government's Intelligence Community. This summer, we will be hosting two IC CAE groups in China, one from Virginia Tech and the other from Howard University. Please see below for more information!
