Program Highlights

  • Explore the narrow streets of Lima’s historic center, including visit to St. Peter’s Church, Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist, and Plaza Mayor.
  • Visit the Santiago Metropolitan Park, one of the world’s largest urban parks, and ascend the Santiago Cable Car for an expansive view of the Santiago skyline and surrounding Andes Mountains.
  • Participate in a guest lecture on Chile’s mineral and mining sector.
  • Engage in cultural exchange activities with students at universities in Quito and Santiago.
  • Experience the breathtaking natural beauty of the Andes during a day trip to Embalse El Yeso.

Pre-Departure To-Do List

  1. Complete CLI’s Student Information Form
    Complete CLI’s Student Info Form by Friday, December 29, 2017. Be sure to enter information exactly as it appears on your passport. If you do not currently have a valid passport, you are still able to submit the Student Information Form using these instructions. Your program is titled “VT RSAP South America 2018”.
  2. Secure your passport
    If you do not already have a passport that will be valid for at least six months after your program end date, please visit the U.S. State Department for instructions on how to obtain one.
  3. Secure your visa
    If you are not a United States passport holder and believe you may need a visa to either Ecuador, Peru or Chile, please contact CLI by phone at 888-781-8383 or by email at lea@studycli.org.
  4. Complete CLI’s allergies and dietary restrictions form
    Complete our medical allergies and dietary restrictions form upon reading this prompt.
